I have Office 2016 on my Macbook and iMac, Office iOS on my iPhone and iPad, and Office 2013 on my Dell Win7 Pro, and I keep all my Office files on OneDrive which is very handy.Ī last option, and one of desperation, return the Macbook Pro and for the same money you can get a top of the line 15" or 17" Windows laptop. Or you can install Windows in a VM on your Macbook, like Bootcamp or Fusion, then upgrade your Office 365 to 365 Home so you can then install Office on up to 5 PC's or Macs, and 5 mobile devices too. Actually, anything required but not reimbursed by your employer is a tax deduction, even office space in your home. Otherwise you're a contractor and it's a business expense. Best option is if they require certain software, then they can provide that certain software and a laptop. So if you can try to talk your employer into using another format like PDF, then you can use Pages, Swift Publisher, or iStudio Publisher. The only reliable option for Publisher format is to use Publisher on Windows.
